1. SHIPPING AGENCY

Acting as the local representative for the principal, I M P provides local knowledge and expertise to ensures that the principal’s requirements are carried out with the utmost efficiency. I M P will act for any parties involved in the voyage and in any capacity as agreed by principal. As a shipping agent I M P are fully conversant with all the local regulations and requirements relating to the port, area or sector in which they operate, having a wide range of relevant contacts and be sufficiently established to be able to provide the best level of service and support the principal needs.

2. CONTAINER SURVEY AND INSPECTION

Perform as container independent inspector for:

• On-hire Survey
• Off-hire Survey
• Condition Survey
• In-service Survey
• Production Inspection
• Moisture Content Survey
• Cargo Quantity Survey
• Cleanliness Inspection

3. CONTAINER REPAIR

Managing container care by carrying out standard container repair:

• Container survey and inspection physically to meet survey criteria, i.e.:
• AQIS (Australian Quarantine International Standard)
• Institute of International Container Lessors (IICL)
• Container Inspection Criteria (CIC)
• Acceptable Container Criteria (ACC)
• Sea-Worthy Criteria
• Wind and weather Tight (WWT)
• and other standard / requirement by customer.
• Provide appropriate Estimate of Repair (EOR).
• Complete physical repair, fix and restore container standard condition to meet customer repair quality standard.

4. CONTAINER CLEANING

ISOTANK / TANKTAINER

• Hazardous
• Non Hazardous

DRY, REEFER, OPEN TOP, ETC,

• NORMAL CLEANING:
• Sweeping, Water Washing, Steam Cleaning, Chemical Cleaning
• SPECIAL CLEANING:
• Partial or complete brush and paint
• Partial or complete refurbishment
• Repainting for container re-identity

5. CONTAINER MODIFICATION

• General Purpose Container becomes General Purpose Bulk Container, and vice versa.
• General Purpose Container becomes Garment on Hanger Container.
• General Purpose Container/Open-top Container becomes Office-Container, Direction Kit or Cabin Crew.
